Oh, I'd forgotten how happy this story makes me! This definitely falls in my realm of personal canon - this is how I want them to live happily ever after: together, still tied into their old lives but making entirely new lives just for themselves, part of a community but still indubitably SamandDean foreverandeveramen. And Sam! Tending bar! There's a little hole-in-the-wall in my neighborhood called Sam's Cafe, and it is totally my mental image for Chiz's. And Dean still hunts and takes care of cars (and Sam) and cooks and shoots pool, and they're quietly happy and just ::hands:: Happy. Yes. It is just the right line of happy and domestic for these two - settled, with a home and with each other (wincestually or genriffic, I care not as long as they're together), but not exactly tame or housebroken. YAY.
