Oh I always want the happy ending. You can make it as angsty as you like, but no death fics and no sad endings. I don't even care if the happy ending is with someone else (like something that starts J2 and ends Jared/Sandy and Jensen/Someone else) as long as they are happy. Of course the lack of OTP makes life a lot easier.
