This is wonderful! I love the slow reveal of what happened in the desert and the fact that they're both fucked up about it. The way they deal with it is patently Winchester, and there were moments when they were winding each other up that I was actually gritting my teeth in sympathy. And I like how it all comes down to a few words spoken at the dam, and how they acknowledge each other's stance, accept it and move on.

On the slash side, the build up of the relationship between them was fantastic; I love UST and you nailed it really well, and that scene with the poker game had me just about breathless. Awesome, awesome job.
