I think that not high summer would work well for both locations:) Fall and winter are the best bet in Las Vegas, unless you love 100+ weather with 0% humidity, and Atlantis would be best outside of the official hurricane season. I've done a couple of Bahama and further south vacations in November and it's really quite nice.

Of course, which year? :-)
