This was FABULOUS. I love your characterisation, the massive amounts of tension between the two of them, and their hunt in the hotel. Such heat and a real sense of devotion between the two of them. Their scene at the Hoover Dam, I could see the two of them so clearly, and I think that was a lovely moment. They both know they've never going to be able to change in that regard, so they have to learn to live with it. This was beautifully written and I got completely caught up in it.
