I think I left a comment on your knifeplay fic (which, HOLY COW, that is still scorching) about trust issues and how much I likes them, and now here we are with this and I am right there with you with people not talking so much as doing, and boy, does Steve McGarrett fit that profile. *g* I'm really glad that this worked so well for you, and if my Steve-meta is that he does whatever he thinks needs to be done, my Danny-meta is that the divorce is something he regards as a personal failure (not that he doesn't acknowledge that it takes two to tango, etc) and he's taking all available steps to have that not happen again. =
