It was an especially geektastic Beach Week this year, everything from massive Song of Ice and Fire speculation (R + L = J, if that means anything to you, though I personally like to add a D in there, too) to Homer (I brought along Song of Achilles & it ended up getting passed around as the book of the year) to an extended Avengers rewatch, complete with hunting down all the extra scenes & shorts.
I know there are at least a few people on my flist who have tumbled into the Avenger love with the latest movie & who might have missed a few of the extras, so I thought I'd pass along the links (sorry, I can't embed)...
