It's been a long week, and January was a long month, and my brain is v. v. tired. For lack of posting inspiration, I guess I could do a What I'm Writing Friday to go along with my What I'm Reading Wednesday?

It goes along with what I said when I bailed on mini_wrimo last November, which was that I should maybe try the make-your-word-count-every-day strategy during a month when I'm not coordinating two Thanksgiving dinners and starting the mad dash toward Christmas and all that entails. Also, anuna_81 had a meme about this being Finish-It-February, and given the really scary WIP list I have going, that's not a bad idea either. Plus, y'know, I talked withdiamonds into signing up for spn_j2_bigbang again and then had to sign up, too, so we could whine and moan and bite our nails together out of solidarity.

So, lots to write!



I'm not even going to cut and paste the seriously out-of-control WIP list I have. The last time I counted, I had about 15 things with more than 1000 words already in the file, several of them cracking 5K. If I collect them all in one place, I'll just get distracted and keep flitting between them.

So. This week I:

Threw ~900 words at the post-Avengers Clint/Natasha.

Got into the serious pr0n in a post-Love and Other Mission Anomalies Hunt/Brandt timestamp.

Started laying down the bare bones outline for SPN/J2 BB -- a gothic AU that is looking to be Jeff/Jensen or possibly J3. I told withdiamonds I need to go dig out all my old Victoria Holts. And possibly watch some Dark Shadows. There are worse things. :D
