Oldest is dancing around impatiently for me to meet all the rest of the characters, having been smugly correct in saying that I was going to love Aral and Cordelia and WHATTOOKYOUSOLONGTOREADTHESEMOM??? (He's also kind of stunned because I was the one who hunted the books down for him--I know my kid and I knew he'd be into this just from seeing the squee periodically on my flist--but never read them myself.)
