In an effort to keep myself distracted, I decided to *do* things (other than scroll my twitter feed, which I'm ofc still doing) and keep track of them so my brain doesn't elide them and throw me into a ridiculous spiral. I'll link to resources/fic/etc if I can and I'll cut to spare your Reading page skim.



baked: banana bread (recipe available upon request)

cooked: shaved steak heroes with sauteed onions and mushrooms and provolone

cleaned: the cupboard where I throw all the bills and paperwork in order to find my passport (which has--oops--expired) and then my birth certificate so I can do my I-9 certification at the new job on Monday. Sorted the 2019 stuff from the 2020 stuff for taxes and filled a box for recycling.

watched: Crazy Rich Asians. Again. (On either HBO or Showtime.)

On the Wings of the Storm, a long and lovely LOTR fic about how Eomer and Lothiriel meet, don't get along, make their way through the war, and find they do actually get along. Angst in this one, but a happy ending (and awesome Rohirrim wedding customs)


Thankfully, my in-law's church made the decision for them and streamed services, so they did not go out and mingle.
