BabyBoy started school (high school, OMG) this morning, ugh. Oldest goes back to college tomorrow (please don't ask if he's packed; I'll get a migraine if I think about what mess it's all going to be.) #2 is trying to decide if he can deal w/another semester. It's going to be a faaaaabulous week. /sarcasm
GotG headcanon
Awesome Mix, Vol. 1 isn't just Peter's mom's favorite songs. It's the story of how she met and fell in love with his father. Her father is clearly not at all approving of this 'angel' who knocked up his daughter, but she wants Peter to know it was a good thing and the music is how she can do it after she's gone. Seriously, check out the lyrics to the songs. (Based on the one song we heard, I think Vol 2 is about them as a family, but that's a little but more of a stretch.)
Okay, that's more than enough emotion about a space opera w/a genius raccoon & a sentient tree.
In DragonCon news, we have 1/3 of the Skyrim cosplays done & half of the Attack on Titan one. Progress? I still don't like where we're staying but at least we're in town. On the better side, it would appear that lots if dwarves have confirmed in the last few weeks, so there will be some Hobbiting on our schedules.
