daily december #5 - fic, day-to-day, random fannish stuff
Today was an open day on my posting list, so I thought I'd fill in with random stuff that's going on.
Random Stuff the First:
I did indeed finish the fluffy fic I was working on during the end of November! (Wow, two things posted in one month! It's like the 'sit down & write every day' idea actually works. Who knew?)
losing control of the whole world (a guide to surviving thanksgiving atstark avengers tower), gen-ish Pepper/Tony, Jane/Thor (and a they're-pretending-it's-just-sex-but-it's-really-really-not Clint/Natasha in the background.) Thanksgiving, Avengers style (not Phase II compliant.) Basically, it was an excuse to write from Pepper's point of view, which I greatly enjoyed and need to do more of.
Random Stuff the Second:
Closely related to the above point, did actually write every single day in November (I forgot to post my word count one day for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
mini_wrimo but I went back and looked at my gdocs history & I hit my word count that day, too, so I'm counting it in my head, \o/. I wrote almost every day in October, too, and I haven't missed yet in December, so I'm totally on a roll.

Random Stuff the Fourth
I tried Sephora's fake gel base & topcoat on my nails and had great results. Usually, I can get 3 or 4 days out of a manicure before the polish is flaking/chipping off, but I'm at 10 days now & they're just at the point where I need to re-do. This is super-exciting, as I love having painted nails but don't ever have the time to keep them touched up, much less go for an actual manicure. Plus, way cheaper.

Courtney Milan writes historical romance that punches every single one of my buttons (which people have been telling me they would for years now and I finally listened.) I am hoarding her books and rationing myself against the sad day when I have no more backlist to read.
Random Stuff the Sixth
My most popular reblogs on tumblr in the last week are this and this (oh, look, Renner, what a surprise--he's hardly ever something I reblog. ), but my favorite is this one. Nichelle Nichols is just too awesome.
