Well, D is dark, and competent, and takes care of his family, and he's a pretty good shot (as attested by my freezer full of quail from his hunting trips with his dad), so I got alllllmost all of my early biases. It was close, though, because Tall, Dark & Dangerous was in the picture for way longer than he needed to be considering how miserable I could be with him.
