Supposedly, it's #777 challenge day?! Who knew?
You go to the 7th page of your WIP, 7th line down, and copy/share the next 7 lines.
hah, the question is: which WIP? (I may be having completion issues.Big, honking Little ones.) The first 3 that I do have 7 pages to work with, behind the cut...
WIP #1, Avengers, Darcy/Clint: Not even Jarvis relaying that Agent Coulson would like to see Darcy in his office if she feels up to it really brings her down. She knows she’s gonna get yelled at some point for the stupidity last night; she might as well get it over with. Steve is going over the the SHIELD offices, too, so Darcy laces up her Chucks and takes his spare helmet and hitches a ride with him, because Captain America and a motorcycle on a sunny summer day? So much better than the standard SUV and driver drone it’s not even in the same galaxy.
She hits her first snag when the security guys tell her Coulson is waiting for her in Fury’s office,
WIP #2, MI4, Hunt/Brandt: "I'm not really interested in scenarios where he's the good guy, though, so it's not like I'm making this shit up. If this was any other situation--if we were here on a job and trying to assess the set-up before we went in--I'd fight you to the end on that read." Ethan keeps his eyes on their hands and the patterns he's tracing. "Maybe I'm just trying to balance out the part of me that's really fucking happy that he has no idea what he walked away from, even now. Because I do know."
"Competitive freak," Will says lightly, but he doesn't move his hand and Ethan can feel the tension easing out of him--out of both of them. When Will finally moves, it's only to slide his
WIP #3, H50, Kono/Danny/Steve: Kono threw on a pair of cargoes and a tank, and grabbed an overshirt for when the hospital AC went into hyperactive mode and made the drive back up to the hospital in silence, no radio, no phone, just her and the daily mess on H1. Steve was nowhere to be found when she got to Danny’s room, which meant she was working on the divide-and-conquer strategy, but otherwise didn’t change that she walked in and crawled into bed on the side with the fewest lines and tubes and tucked herself as best she could around Danny.
“If you want to be with Grace, I have no problem living in Rachel’s house,” Kono said softly.

That Kono/Danny/Steve is the story that won't die... Every time I think I have to give up on it, out pops another 500 words. Of course, then it all goes away, too, so it's not GETTING DONE, but it's not dying either. :D

Spring break was fun--but OMG!SO!CROWDED!
And I think you'll love Gale even more after the movie--he's very understated, but so strong and trustworthy and dependable (which makes him sound boring, but he's so NOT.) Plus, Liam Hemsworth is too damn good-looking. :D
