Plus, I indulged in a lot of different fandoms for the Autumn 'Ship Meme and did a couple of entries for the a Three Sentence Ficathon (Kirk/Pike & Kate/Clint.

So, that's, hmm, ~62K words, not counting the ship meme or 3-sentence entries, which is not all that much, but nothing I'm going to turn down either.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you never would've guessed? Laura and Clint came out of nowhere and haven't stopped yet.

What's your own favorite story of the year? The Laura/Clint series--I am greatly enjoying writing the backstory to that beautiful house and home

Did you take any writing risks this year? I just have fun

My best story of this year: It's not finished yet, but in deep with you darling has taken up permanent residence in my brain and keeps suggesting ways around canon issues.

My most popular story of this year: Kind of a tie between in deep with you darling and Strawberry Laundry Blues -- Darcyland is pretty amazing as a fandom.

Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Viridian Skies is kind of the story of my heart what with the steampunk and the Clintasha, so I'm always going to think it needs more love.

Most fun story to write: Espresso Con Panna (The Pour-Over Mix, because I kept finding more fun things to write, from Billy fussing at Kate to Kate bitching at Steve and Clint finally making it home.

Story with the single sexiest moment: I think it goes to Laura and Clint in one of these crazy old nights

Most "Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: My brain did not go anyplace nuts this year! How disappointing.

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Again, I'm going with Laura and Clint, less for shifting my perceptions and more for solidifying them in the first place.

Hardest story to write: in deep with you darling -- I was literally making myself write 100 words a night on this and I still hated most of them and would wipe them out the next day

Biggest Disappointment: I really wanted to finish in deep with you darling, but not only did that not happen, but it sucked up time from everything else. Still, progress is being made!

Biggest Surprise: Still writing MCU, good grief, who knew that was going to happen.

Most Unintentionally Telling Story: The whole Clint/Laura series: wow, women who are wives and mothers actually DO have a life, who knew?

Fic-writing goals for 2016: Finish in deep with you darling, OMG. Write some Finn/Poe and wallow in the Gay Space Pilots for a while. Finish the Darcy/Sam b/c Sam Wilson needs some love and Darcy could use somebody with his head screwed on straight. Try not to be afraid of the WiP folder!
