the ao3 meme
I'm a little behind on this, but what else is new?
Last year's list of my stories with the most hits
This year's list:
10. Shining On The Quay, Star Trek (2009), Christopher Pike/Jim Kirk (1676) === The only thing I've ever written in any Trek fandom--I totally blame Bruce Greenwood for this. Post-movie H/C where everybody gets what they want (ie, the Enterprise and a home.) Written for the 2011
startrekbigbang and there is fabulous artwork and a mix as well. (New in 2012)
9. Fearless On My Breath, Hawaii Five-0, Kono/Steve (1773) === Post-ep for Chin and Hesse and the bomb. Kono and Steve are, for better or worse, too much alike and pretty damn explosive together, at least in my head. (2011 - #8)
8. Kisses Sweeter Than Wine, CWrps, Jared/Jensen (1925) === My 2010
spn_j2_bigbang -- the chef AU. I occasionally still get comments about the recipes. :D (2011 - #6)
7. Takin' Care of Business, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Ethan Hunt/William Brandt (1970) === The MI4 kink meme was hitting my 'oooo, I could write that' buttons like you wouldn't believe (though this one is all narrative kink.) It's much more of a team gen-fic, though the Ethan/Will is in the background. Narrated by Jane, and that was a blast. (New in 2012)
6. put your arms around me like a ring around the sun, Supernatural, Sam/Dean/OFC (2243) === H/C, sex magic, fuck-or-die... I had fun finally managing to finish this for last year's Mini-Bang after years of trying. (New in 2012)
5. Sugar Never Was So Sweet, Hawaii Five-0, Kono/Danny (2886) === They're such a fun couple on the show; it's easy to spin them out into something more. (2011 - #3)
4. Love and Other Mission Anomalies, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol), Ethan Hunt/William Brandt (3730) === The kink meme strikes again (though again, it's a narrative kink not a sexual one.) Hurt/comfort and snark: it's becoming an unexpected theme. Also, the first thing I've given permission to be translated (into Chinese(!!), even.) (New in 2012)
3. you need a rock not a rolling stone, Marvel Movie-verse (The Avengers/Thor/Captain America/Iron Man), Darcy/Clint (5961) === This fandom... it is something else. I posted the first part less than two months ago (I only just finished it last week) and, wow. Lots of people read here (and comment and kudo and generally spread rainbows and puppies and warm fuzzies. :D ) I swear, writing Darcy snarking with Clint was the only thing that kept me even remotely sane this spring. (New in 2012)
2. End-Around, Hawaii Five-0, Steve/Danny (11,516) === Never underestimate the power of PWP with a little mild kink. :D (2011 - #2)
1. Four Times Nobody Noticed It Was A Date and One Time There Wasn't Any Doubt, Hawaii Five-0, Steve/Danny (17,073) === Still far and away my most popular story. I'm sort of amazed at its staying power and so blown away that people still read and comment and kudo it. (2011 - #1)
So, what to take away? Some fandoms loooooove AO3. :D

Reading, I'm having trouble wandering away from SGA. I should give H50 another chance, even if the show keeps giving me whiplash. (And I'm re-reading one of yours. :) But your star trek looks fascinating, so who knows!

I loved writing that Trek--like I said, it's all Bruce Greenwood's fault. His Pike got into my brain and wouldn't get out even if it did take me 2 years to write it all down.
