Because the highlights of my life these past few days have been getting the final remnants of the Beach Week sparkly purple pedicure off my toes and finding little fish-shaped soy sauce containers on amazon (BabyBoy's lunches, please don't ask), I'm going to go with an ever-popular WiP meme.

This one is supposed to be just the name of the file, but since I'm all over the place fandom-wise these days, I added that, and the pairing (or what I think the pairing might be.) Also, these are just the files that g-docs says I've opened in the last month, which is actually kind of ridiculous now that I look at how many there are. Possibly, I might finish one sometime in the near future, but I'm not counting on much.

your list looks a lot like mine. except that I have to finish by December 31 or they won't ordain me. (also, my list, being non-fiction isn't nearly as fun to share with others and some of it is in another language.) still, it's daunting to see the list, isn't it? (I think I can do it until I see the entire list and I get paralyzed.)

I had to stop keeping track of books I have to write for work--I used to keep a running list on my whiteboard but then it got so overwhelming I couldn't breathe so I sent my director a list and he crosses things off when we publish. (I don't even try to make a plan for things, I just do whatever the most urgent requirement is. We're so understaffed it's not even remotely do-able, so we all just pretend it's not a complete joke and keep writing one thing after another.)

My brain is all very excited about them, too, and will NOT settle down and get through one. You know how it is--everything has those little rough spots, the ones that you just have to focus on and figure out how to get through, only I'll hit one of those little bumps and my brain goes oooooo, let's go write the one where they have to send Bruce in undercover and Natasha is supposed to be his date/protection detail but there is a problem and Clint is the closest one to him. Tuxedoes! Fake couples! GO!!
