without_me asked, "If we had all the time in the world, what would we write together?"

To set the scene, I should probably mention that she and I have co-written together before, starting with comment fic that got *completely* out of hand and turned into an 80K word polyamorous epic, a D/s PWP that we kept writing separately for about another 20k (my first J2), and a 20k word SPN/Angel crossover that was also my first SPN fic. I am not kidding when I call her a dangerously persuasive woman.

Today, though... today I just want fluff. There's too much RL going on and I could do with a little comfort fic. So, I'm thinking RPF AU. J2, probably. oh, wait, I know--the world has moved on since I wrote Kisses Sweeter Than Wine and there is probably a wedding/reception that could be happening, something that melds Jensen's hyper planning gene with Jared's laid back let's-feed-the-world attitude. I feel like they'd be planning the date based on what they're going to serve at the reception. Or, no, better yet, it's an entire week (because that means I don't have to pare down the menu/recipes for just one meal.)

Oh my goodness, YES. Now, where do we apply for that 30-hour day? (Or 30-hour workweek; I'd take that, too.) SWOON.

Imagine them interviewing caterers--it would be more like an all day review of their sourcing and going off to meet the farmers where they source from!

And then the tussle over how no caterer is quite exactly right and Jensen deciding he should just do it himself, and Jared laying the smackdown because NO, he's not going to deal with Jensen's beyond-exponential stress levels if he's getting married AND doing the food...

The best thing about that is that I don't have to be practical when i'm scoping out the menu, because I've already established that they're both crazy in the kitchen and anyone they'd hire would have to be able to keep up with them.

Seriously, even if the wedding!fic never gets written, I'd still love a rundown of that menu. :)

The menu would be awesome and would totally drive everything else about the wedding--the venue would have to match and the time of the ceremony and even the season.
