Daily December --> Disneyland and Des and me

If you and I could go to Disneyland (note correct Disney park! hee!) for one day and hang out, tell me about what we should do there. Besides, you know, talk. A lot. :) (for [livejournal.com profile] destina)

Well. Apparently, we should plan on spending some time riding Tower of Terror and freaking out unsuspecting first timers, koff. :D

Other than that, I am dying to see Carsland and the redone California Adventure, so we have to do that. Oh, and the Indiana Jones ride, because in Florida they used the ride design for the Dinosaur ride and I would much rather see Indy than random dinos. And possibly World of Color. And I suppose we should, for completeness, check out the differences between the Ca Space Mountain (but I will leave it to your discretion as to whether we ride Small World.) Then, there is food, where I will follow your lead.

And then we will talk and talk and talk, about books and movies and tv shows and tropes and modern vs. historical AUs and what other Disney movies we can fuse with our favorite media sources (Steve and Bucky: Beauty and the Beast, y/y?) And possibly talk some more. And plan a trip to Tokyo Disney/Sea, right? ♥

Wait, have you not made it out to Disneyland?

I haven't been to Disneyland in more than 20 years... probably closer to 30!

I completely endorse every part of that plan! Especially the talking and talking and talking. :)

I feel like the talking would be happening non-stop...we'd be on ToT and plotting out a fic or something. :D

CA Space Mountain is much better, I think. Much more comfortable and less jerky.

I somehow missed your post on your favorite ride! ToT is my favorite, too. And I'm sure I told you about the time the girls and I rode it after the ToT race several years ago. It was 2am, the CMs had been working all day, and someone at the controls dozed off. When our ride was over, the car didn't move forward so we could unload, it just sat there. We could hear the next car above us, but we weren't moving. We all started yelling, and finally we moved. It was a bit disconcerting, and when we got off, finally, I overheard two CM talking about how the one guy fell asleep.

We'd riddne it several times in a row, but decided it was probably time to call it quits for the night.

I remember you telling me about that--scary!
