Notes/Warnings: I... have no idea on this one, but it was a blast to write and it has kept me entertained and diverted through some not-so-fun times in RL this spring. Vague spoilers for Thor and the Iron Man movies, and I freely admit to skipping through 30+ years of Marvel canon and taking only the bits I like. Thanks to withdiamonds for reading even though I probably should have sent her a cheat sheet to keep everyone sorted out.
Summary: The first time Darcy is kidnapped by a mad scientist, it is not her fault.

I HAD SO MUCH FUN READING IT. and then I made Sarah read it after a long day and she was all happy too, so you managed to get us both!

I really do love how the whole thing is Darcy thinking she's utterly out of her depth AND SECRETLY SHE IS BEING AWESOME. Because of course SHIELD and Stark Industries would be fighting for her! SHE IS DARCY.

I'm sure it won't surprise you to hear I wrote it all so the sex against the door would make sense, but, yeah, apparently, my PWP-fu has turned into novella-length set-ups. I might have had way too much fun with Darcy and her finding her way in the crazy SHIELD world, though, so no harm, no foul, right?

hah--it *does* take a bit to get 3 ppl in bed sometimes. :D

And sex scenes should be an organic part of the story, right? I mean, I knew Darcy was up for it, and lord knows Clint thought about it, but age difference, PTSD, yadda yadda, *something* had to give before he'd actually do it. I'm probably lucky it only took 20,000 words to get him there. :D

They're three very stubborn people and Rufus is the heir of the family Tifa's sworn to destroy, so they have a bit more effort to go through than most. :)
