Ok, so the last thing I wrote was blessed with a POV character who barely stopped her internal monologue long enough to breathe (♥ Darcy ♥) which made it so much easier to write her story.

This thing I'm working on now? Not so much. It's coming out of my head in very spare and stripped-down bits and pieces--so much so that I have no idea how well (or if) they actually tell the story.

My default in such situations is to whine at withdiamonds or without_me, but they really deserve a break after 40,000 words of a fandom that is not theirs, so.

If there's anybody who might be inclined to read post-movie Clint/Coulson and tell me if it's working, I would be endlessly grateful. It's only about 5K now (but seriously: ALL THE SPOILERS. If you don't know what I'm talking about, please do not let me deprive you of your hard-earned "Whedon, you bastard" moment.)

You so deserve a break after the last one, but thank you! And you know how people say a well-written story should be able to stand on its own, without the source material? Yeah, I don't think this one is going that way--there's just too much that wants to stay unspoken and explaining why they are where they are just bogs everything down, so I'm hoping jessa can follow along and I'll count that as good enough.
