spn drabble

For [livejournal.com profile] unholyglee's birthday...

When Sam told Dean about leaving, he swore it wasn't about them. Stanford was just something he had to do. Dean nodded, mostly to shut the kid up. There was nothing right or healthy about the two of them; Dean knew Sam was smart enough to have figured that out.

Jess was pretty, smart, and had eyes for nobody but Sam--meeting her didn't do a thing to change Dean's mind.

Sam is smart, though; he knows that nothing gets Dean's attention faster than a hand high on his thigh, that Dean's favorite kink is getting blown by the side of the road, front seat pushed all the way back, that he's missed Sam sliding slickhardhot inside him so bad it's like a part of him died.

Mostly, Sam's smart enough to have the biggest cup of take-out coffee he can find waiting when Dean wakes up and smart enough to leave him alone to drink it before he ambushes Dean in the car.

"I told you it wasn't about this."

Dean always says he can deal with anything with enough caffeine in his system. He guesses reaching over and pulling Sam in for a hard kiss proves it.

Just lovely, hon!

Thank you!

Yeah, this Sam knows what he's doing. Thanks for commenting!

That is the best, oh lord.

Baby, it's the happiest apocalypse ever. Keep drabbling. Double-drabble. Triple-drabble. OH yes. :D

I, er, drabbled for A, here (http://topaz119.livejournal.com/289503.html?thread=1835231#t1835231). This is my pet theory, the one that I should write this summer, before Kripke returns and josses me to hell and back.

[blink]

HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THIS? Oh, right. Paper from hell driving me crazy and not really being online those two weeks around my birthday.

Well, anyway. OMG THANK YOU! It's belated, but no less heartfelt. I mean. You writing Supernatural makes me happy anyway, and then to have something written just for *me?* Awesomecakes.

It's okay, lady--the nifty thing about drabbles is that they don't have an expiration date. I knew you were going nuts around your birthday and probably wouldn't see it, but it was a good excuse to play with the Winchester boys. I'm glad you found it--and like it!--and brace yourself, there's one coming for nan's challenge, 100x the word count of this.

=) [livejournal.com profile] without_me indulges me shamelessly. We might not crack 20,000 words of crossovery crack, but we'll be damn close. And I gotta say, Dean is a blast to write.

I repeat, !!!
