I had to take a break from the angst-fest I'm in the middle of writing (at least I'm at the point where I can write the turn but I clearly did not think through the implications of all this when I blithely started down this path) so I wrote up a batch of 10 more things that made me happy.

Long, slow build with a lot of team interaction, good and bad things happening, and a pretty fair take on both of their physical and emotional issues (but no infantilizing, just grown-ups dealing with serious shit.)

Moving The Furniture by copperbadge, The Avengers | Marvel Cinematic Universe, Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanoff, 6911 words, Mature === Steve still has a few issues with the whole talking to women thing. But he hasn't given up yet.

When Your First Four Dates Are in a Convenience Store, It Might Be Destiny by florahart, The Avengers | MCU, Clint Barton/Phil Coulson, 19,417 words, Explicit === Slight AU where Clint is working his way through college at the titular convenience store and Agent Coulson comes in for a late-night snack run.

No Magic Would Save Me by arsenicarcher, The Avengers | Marvel Cinematic Universe, gen-ish with Tony/Pepper, 20738 words, Mature === Steampunk AU where Pepper finds a young, abused Clint at the circus and takes him away to find a home. The whole cast of characters is fantastically well-drawn.

Dungeons & Hawkeyes by inmyriadbits, Hawkeye / Marvel Cinematic Universe, Clint/Coulson (but more Kate & Clint, and Kate & Phil), 5519 words, PG-13 === Fun AUish crossover with Hawkeyes and Coulson and bad guys.

Here Waiting (Do You See Me?) by Morgane, The Avengers, Clint Barton/Phil Coulson/Natasha Romanov, 15,123 words, Explicit === Natasha and Phil are good together. Clint is okay with that, or he will be.
