OMG, NaNo. For the first time in the history of ever, I’m on track. I mean, yeah, it’s only 5 Nov, but still. I am AHEAD of the little dots on the chart. It’s very exciting. The only thing is that the Disco fic I’m almost finished with is at point where sh*t is getting real and everything has to align with what came before, and people are *finally* talking about FEEEEELings, which means I have to thiiiiiink about every word, which takes too much time. But yeah, on track so far, \o/.

Also, I may have had too many diet cokes today (we have a lot of people in the office from the Bangalore team and we (the ATL office) are running around being hospitable and it is fun but omgexhausting), and my brain is spinnnnnning but nobody can tell, right?

Let’s see, what else? Oh, I finally started watching Good Omens and while it’s been decades since I read the book (or perhaps *because* it’s been decades), I am vastly enjoying the Tennant/Sheen show. The rest is fine, but I feel this adaptation is perfectly encapsulated by Tennant sighing, “Get in the car, angel” as if that was the greatest insult Crowley can summon while being a patently obvious (to everyone except C/A) term of endearment. (Also, I think I forgot to mention how many genderswapped Crowley/Aziraphale cosplayers there were at DragonCon. I think I was 4 days in before I saw my first non-swapped pair. It was like Loki back in 2011/12—and really even now, as there were several *stunning* Lady Lokis in amazing gowns this year.)

BabyBoy came home to see the high school’s fall one-act shows and hang with his most favorite director and now I feel like at some point I’m going to have to try to figure out how to stage a play they want to do. Again: kids—who knew my nerdy engineering self was going to have to be this into the theater world?

Oh, also, I’ve been doing the box meal ingredient thing the last few months and I have codes for ppl to get a free weekly box (I think they 3 meals for 2 ppl or the equivalent amount off servings for 4) from Hello Fresh if you’d like to give them a try. I’ll set comments to screen if you want to leave me an email address to send the code to. (I’ve been working my way through all of the options, Blue Apron/HF/Sunbasket, but HF is the one that I can most consistently feed my (semi-picky) family.) Lemme know!
