Incident on the Orient Express by eostrecalliope, The Avengers, Clint & Natasha, Teen, 3500 words === Steampunk Budapest, with gorgeous artwork by _afterism, here.

Still Standing by Zinnith, The Avengers, Clint/Natasha, Teen, 1200 words === Toward the end of the movie, Natasha steels herself to go find Clint. Great banter and voices.

Trust by Neery, The Avengers, Clint/Bruce, Explicit, 13,500 words === Post-movie and it trips my 'friends to lovers' button (twice, you'll see) even if they have to get to be friends first.

Take That, Bembridge Scholars! by seren_ccd, The Mummy, Evy/Rick, Teen, 5300 words === I love Evy and she's in fine form here, writing a very sternly worded letter in the midst of other, more heart-centered, events.

Lost for you (so lost for you) by anuna, The Bourne Legacy, Aaron/Mara, NC-17, ~4200 words === Marta and Aaron, post-movie, uncertain and alone.

The Unusual Suspects by celesteavonne, The Unusuals, gen (all canon pairings but they're not really the point), Teen, ~40,000 (so far) === I don't usually read WiPs, but there's so little fic for this fandom that I clicked in here and YAY, it is awesome! Case file that pulls in the entire ensemble cast with excellent voices (and banter!) Still in progress, but see note above re: not enough fic for this fandom.

Walk A While With Me by ladyjanelly, The Losers, Cougar/Jensen, Explicit, 34,500 words === AU in that Jensen never becomes the team's comms guy, for serious, non-trivial reasons, but he and Cougar find each other regardless. Do check the author's warnings, because things get/have been rough. Great, tight, third-person POV, which, as some of you may know, makes me swoon with delight and weep with envy when it's this good.

and baby makes five by siria, Hawaii Five-0, Kono/Jenna, Steve/Danny, Explicit, 16,00 words === AU, established relationships, Jenna and Kono want to have a baby and ask Steve to be the father. Entirely not crack. So awesome.


I skip around a lot with vids (so many thanks to everyone on my flist who links/recs them; it's pretty much the only way I find things) and I can't really tell you *why* I liked something except that everything came together for me, but with those disclaimers, these made me happy:

Reaching As I Fall by TatyanaOracle, The Avengers, gen, Clint || Barney, vid === It's the Barton brothers -- do I need to warn for angst? (With Norman Reedus standing in for Barney.)

The War Was In Color by settiai, Captain America || The Avengers, gen, Steve Rogers, vid === This is one of those I'm-the-last-person-in-ten-fandoms-to-rec-this recs, but I can't not add my voice to the chorus.

Dead and Gone by anoel, Game of Thrones, Arya Stark, vid === GoT is a minor obsession around the House of Boys and all of us *loved* this vid.

Ain't Born Typical by luckybiatch, Hawaii Five-0, Steve/Kono, vid === You know how much I love these two together -- the best worst idea ever.

Hawkeye & Trickshot gets me so bad because Norman Reedus and Jeremy Renner could so be brothers. Approve of this so hard! <3

Also "Sabotage" and "The War Was In Color" get to me. <3<3<3

They absolutely could be brothers -- that whole disaster of a relationship would make an awesome Hawkeye movie.

I just found Sabotage this last weekend while I was combing (forlornly) for more Unusuals fic -- such a happy surprise! And The War Was In Color is one of those yes!yes!yes!yayfandom! works.

It is such a huge fandom; you could be reading for months! I'm just hanging out on the Hawkeye-centric fringe over here, reading whatever it is I'm trying to write. (One Clint/Darcy and Clint/Coulson down, one BlackHawk in progress.) But I'm glad I could throw some fun stuff your way!
