I probably shouldn't even try this at this point in the evening, but it's the tradition to post yuletide recs before the reveal? I am unsure of the etiquette, and that's before we even start with the bottle of rose champagne in the ice bucket.

Down The Shore Everythng's All Right, by anonymous, Hawaii Five-0, Steve/Danny, NC-17, ~3,400 words === Danny gets shot and Steve takes care of everything, except it takes Danny a little while to catch on. When he does, though, they settle things even better than I could have hoped.

(Just Like) Starting Over, by anonymous, Star Trek RPF, Chris/Zach, PG-13, ~6,500 words === Super banter, awesome group dynamics--what's not to love?

An Inside Look At A Main Line Society Apocalypse , by anonymous, The Philadelphia Story, Dex/Tracy, Mike/Liz (at the level of the movie), PG-13, ~3,700 words === Things get a little crazy at Dex and Tracy's wedding, even after the whole bit about the groom changing at the last minute. Again with the awesome banter and group dynamics.

The One Where Matt Farrell Is Most Certainly Not Sleeping With John McClane (not even a little), by anonymous, Live Free or Die Hard, Matt/John, NC-17, ~3,100 words === McClane is a badass, even when he's tied up, and Matt not only saves the day, but does it in style, so he gets to take the hot badass home. yay Matt!
