(no subject)

10 days to Drafts Due for marvel_bang and I am maybe halfway through this thing. One the one hand, I've written more on this in the past 2 weeks than I have in the past year, but on the other hand, I'm at the point where I'm checking word count with every sentence and it doesn't even matter because I'm past the minimum. I just have to, you know, *write the story.* (I guess it does matter, in that it's positive reinforcement: look! yay you! you got another 40 words that you don't hate! we can keep them! keep going!)

Also of the good: I actually have a title (which withdiamonds can tell you is a minor miracle.) So at least I won't be frantically skimming song lyrics at 11:57 next Thursday night (or having Oldest do it on the phone on the getting-to-DragonCon car ride.)

Okay, enough procrastinating here. Back to g-docs at least until the laundry finishes in the dryer and I can procrastinate by mating socks...
