Mar. 12th, 2014 05:14 pmWow, the time change is kicking my ass this year. ugh. I am enjoying the light later in the day, but I'm staggering around with zero brain function through the rest of it.
Books:
What I Just Finished
Death at Victoria Dock, Kerry Greenwood - the 4th Phryne Fisher mystery, which again met my requirements for entertainment, with bonus clothing to die for.
What I'm Reading Now
I started another Phryne novel, but I don't think it's the next in line and while they're technically stand-alones, I like to see the characters introduced (especially all the men Phryne keeps time with) so I think I need to send this one back and sort out what's properly next.
Also, Z, by Therese Fowler, which is a fictionalized biography of Zelda Fitzgerald. I just started it last night, but, as noted above, my brain is not really functioning this week, so we'll see how far I get.
What I'm Reading Next
The library just pinged me that The Heir Apparent, which is a biography of Edward VII, is waiting, so maybe that. Or maybe I should give in to the terminal brain tiredness and just re-read something fluffy and comforting.
