Is that still a thing or am I totally late to the ball?

Well, late is better than never, right?

So, I fell down a Captain Swan-shaped fic rabbit hole this past weekend, which is totally puzzling, given that I haven’t watched OUaT in years and years (even before it ended) and even when I was noodling about the fandom I tended to read Swan Queen. But there I was, sorting by kudos and doing that is this fic going to be MY kind of fic? quick skim and hoping for the best. (Also, then I started re-watching the show itself and I knew SebStan had been good as Jefferson, but yow, he really was kind of eye-poppingly intense when he showed up. After all that, I’m still not up to Hook’s arrival, but I’m having fun with all the crazy side-plots so far. It’s way better when you can just ff through the ones that still make you crazy, *koff* Pinocchio *)

Anyway, have a few recs, all Emma Swan/Killian Jones|Captain Hook:

Lovestoned , by jeffgoldblumvevo, Once Upon a Time, Emma Swan/Killian Jones|Captain Hook, ~12,600 words, Explicit === The obligatory sex pollen story (though it’s not a compulsion, more like lowered inhibitions so if this is kind of a squick for you, you might be able to skate by?) It’s Storybrooke, so you know True Love’s Kiss is involved and it’s all pretty happy once things get sorted out.

Thaw, by passing-fanciful, Once Upon a Time, Emma Swan/Killian Jones|Captain Hook, ~14,600 words, Explicit === Post S3? with everyone back in Storybrooke, Emma would really appreciate just a week or so without weirdness, but the universe is not listening. Luckily, Hook is taking the whole Savior thing in stride and isn’t letting said weirdness run him off. This one has so many nice little touches, like Hook’s hand-drawn maps and Emma’s smart-ass pop-culture references.

I Almost Do, by ihearttvsnark, Once Upon a Time, Emma Swan/Killian Jones|Captain Hook, ~47,500 words, Teen === Set during the post-Pan double-curse arc, instead of Emma and Henry ending up in New York without memories, Emma wakes up the next morning in a new house in Storybrooke, next to a non-pirate Killian who has no idea about curses or the Enchanted Forest or Neverland or anything. Normality has never been so weird.
