subjects for a wednesday

I hit some kind of a wall at the office yesterday and walked out before I started crying (or quit). Instead of brooding about it, though, I took myself to an afternoon matinee. Just me and 50 retired military types (and one lone fangirl in the back row. If it had been any other day I would have turned around to see if we possibly knew each other, but it was so not a sociable day. If it was you in the Regal, hi!) (Then I went home and worked some more, but I was much calmer.)

Pursuant to the above point, I may or may not be writing Bourne Legacy fic, but if I am, it is all poisontaster and azephirin's fault. (And saturn92103, too, but that one is just in the outline stage.)

Today is the 100th anniversary of Julia Child's birth. By rights, I should be cooking something lovely to celebrate, but tomorrow is the day my house gets cleaned, which means tonight is NoDishes Night while I try to get the rest of the house in some kind of decent order, so instead please to have this awesome picture of how the ingredients were always so close at hand while she was filming her TV show
