Talk about a plot bunny I love but will probably never write. (Any fandom) (for
brandywine28)
So. The thing is: I *hate* to give up on an idea. I keep it around and poke at it and poke at it and poke at it, and even after I've migrated fandoms, I still like to look at the bones of the idea and see how it might translate to different characters. I have files for every fandom I've ever written in, going all the way back to the X-Files and Buffy. Most of those are terrible ideas, though. I keep thinking about deleting them, but then I look at them every so often and realize how much better I've gotten at story-telling. It's helpful in the dark winter days.
So, for this post, I'm only looking at the really old files that I still feel love for, and one that I love the most is from the J2 days, one that I kept trying to get in the Disney prompt challenge (the RPF one, not the SPN one), which can be summed up by just saying "Misha Poppins."
No, really--the Js are together and have a loud and rambunctious family that runs through nannies like crazy until one day, the Santa Anas blow Misha to their doorstep and mayhem ensues. I never quite worked out who Bert might have been, and I really didn't ever get much plotting done aside from some hand-waving of and then there was [possibly] metaphorical kite-flying, but I really still do love the idea (and Misha's 'Cooking with West' videos certainly didn't discourage me.)
