Hit Me Up, by barkley and destina, Bond (DC version), vid === Crisp, sharp, glorious... basically, 3 minutes of why Craig has suddenly become my favorite Bond.

glad you came, by lilly_the_kid, Fast & Furious, vid === Family, sun, speed, all wrapped up in Paul Walker's heart-stopping smile. I have no idea how I'm going to get through the next movie.

Fireproof, by mithborien, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, vid === This showcases all the things I actually liked about the movie and skips right over the stuff that I rolled my eyes at. Slow and more sad than not, but not totally dark. 

Comin' Home Baby, by destina, Ocean's 11, vid === All kinds of fun with a Mel Torme soundtrack. Perfect.

Bedroom Hymns, by lady_with_cats, The Hour, vid === This would be what sucked me right into watching the show, which is one of the many reasons I love vids.

My brain is tired (family stuff, nothing new, just the continued worries re: health issues of kids and parents) so a bullet list is about all I've got energy for:

Given how often Clint Barton takes a dive off a collapsing building, this is really starting to bug me. No, he does not force back the building, he descends by means of a rappel. I know you all know this already; thank you for listening.

Somewhere in there, I've managed to miss not only my 10th lj-versary (like, by a *year*; I'm coming up on my 11th!) but also that I've somehow managed to post more than 1000 things on tumblr. Who knew I had either of them in me?

In my quest to keep at least a tiny bit of separation between boys and their screens this summer, I stumbled upon diy.org, which has all kinds of cool projects and skills and promises to soon have actual patches available for purchase upon the completion of a skill set. My First Class Girl Scout heart is all aflutter!

escape from new york by beardsley, Avengers, Steve/Bucky, ~12,100 words, Mature === Poor Steve: sex pollen hits New York and he has no idea what to do. Note the sex pollen--if it's not your thing, be aware, but if it *is* your thing, this is lots of fun. The emotional center is Steve/Bucky, but you name a pairing/threesome/moresome and it's probably there, and in very good cheer.

so you were never a saint by paperclipbitch, Skyfall, gen with excellent Q|Moneypenny|Bond, ~12,300 words, Teen === This is one of those fics that I will have to consciously remove from my brain before I see the next movie, because it blends and extends canon so perfectly.
